PLAY SPORTS JUNIORS
NETBALL ACADEMY
Social netball clubs for girls and boys aged 5-17 years old
PLAY NETBALL ACADEMY
We provide age-specific, evening and weekend netball sessions for girls and boys, focusing on key physical, social and tactical skills suitable for their Netball development, confidence and progression. Academy sessions introduce the fundamentals of netball through movement, coordination, catching, passing and fun games and activities.
As players progress, sessions develop their core netball skills, positional understanding, movement, decision-making and tactical awareness, alongside giving them opportunities to put what they have learnt into practice through match play.

We welcome and encourage anybody who wants to join in, have fun & play netball!
KEY AREAS
At every stage, our aim is to develop three key areas:
- Physical skills – building the movement, coordination and netball techniques needed to progress.
- Social skills – encouraging communication, teamwork, friendships and a sense of belonging.
- Tactical skills – developing an understanding of positions, decision-making, rules and how the game is played.
Alongside these areas, we want every player to grow in confidence, independence and enjoyment of the sport. Ultimately, our Netball Academies are about creating a place where children want to come back each week. Whether a child joins us as a complete beginner or already love the game, we want every player to have the opportunity to learn, progress, make friends, feel part of a team and, most importantly, have fun playing netball.

“As one of the largest providers of fun and friendly Netball Leagues across the UK, our collaboration is a perfect fit with our shared passion of making netball accessible to as many people as possible.
